Mon - Fri 8 AM- 5 PM Atlanta, GA Time (8:00 PM - 5:00 AM Manila time); includes 2x 30 minute unpaid break

Job Description

As a Healthcare Receptionist, you’ll be the cornerstone of patient interaction and practice operations. Managing a cutting-edge text platform and handling crucial administrative tasks, you’ll ensure seamless communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your role directly impacts patient satisfaction and practice efficiency across multiple locations. Responsibilities
  • Manage patient communications via text platform and other channels
  • Handle administrative functions crucial to practice operations
  • Verify insurance information and assist with related processes
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EMR system
  • Support patient account management, including balance follow-ups
  • Coordinate between multiple practice locations
  • Assist with basic financial tasks related to patient accounts
  • Code all daily patient visits accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and regulations
  • Assist in managing financial aspects of patient accounts
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when needed
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy while working independently
  • Contribute to the overall financial health of the practice through precise coding
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills with customer service background
  • Experience in healthcare settings, pediatrics preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical data privacy
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to learn practice-specific systems
  • Organizational skills to manage tasks across multiple locations
  • Certified medical coder with experience in pediatric coding
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Capacity to work independently while maintaining high accuracy
  • Willingness to assist with other financial or administrative tasks as needed
