United Woundcare Institute is a leading healthcare innovator developing cutting-edge solutions in wound care and mobile health. We're looking for a passionate and driven Registered Nurse to join our growing team and help us expand our reach within the healthcare market.

We are looking for a temporary RN for a clinician out on maternity leave. This candidate can work on a contract basis. 

 



 



 




Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for our rapidly growing Detroit, MI market representing a critical part of our care delivery team.
 
Our company is dedicated to healing wounds and employs a unique multi-disciplinary model across care environments.  We are on the cutting edge of the wound care discipline, utilizing advanced techniques including artificial, stem-cell and growth factor skin substitutes which you’ll support assessment, staging, and preparation of the patient in the comfort of the patient’s home.
 
 Key responsibilities:
  • Assist the UWI Provider in clinical duties to support advanced wound care treatments.  
  • Prepare patients and necessary materials for procedures, including debridement and grafting.  
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities and ROC (Regional Operations Coordinator) teams to manage discharges for patients. 
  • Ensure all necessary clinical instructions, equipment, and follow-up plans are in place for patients. 
  • Act as a liaison between the facility, patient, and patient advocacy team to advocate for patient needs and ensure their concerns are addressed.  
  • Facilitate communication to promote patient-centered care and improve overall patient satisfaction. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

RN Licensure in Michigan
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Ability to and willingness to travel, treating patients in their homes (Detroit, MI area).
Experience in Wound Care.
Experience in Debridement a plus.
