Business Intelligence Developer. Corewell Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Duties: Develops reporting and analytic solutions. Supports data development, analytics and quality improvement. Translates business needs into a technical solution using visuals and creating data sources, metrics and automation, using electronic health record (EHR) reporting tools and databases. Designs, tests, deploys, and maintains self-service reporting assets and Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) to populate data warehouse assets.
Requires: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Computer or Information Science, or related, plus 60 months of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Analyst or Administrator, or related. Will also accept Master's and 2 years of experience.
Above experience must include 2 years in the healthcare industry including:
1) interpreting data from a variety of sources, including EPIC;
2) using SQL and SSMS;
3) designing databases and developing and maintaining dashboards using health care data; and
4) analyzing data through Tableau to assist in delivering healthcare management and decision making. Telecommuting permitted from within US.
