Transporter - Full Time - Mon. thru Fri. *Weekly Pay*

Description

The Village At Summerville, a life plan community, is seeking a Transporter that is a hospitality minded professional looking for a rewarding experience working with older adults

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities including scheduled trips and medical appointments.
• Prioritize times and needs to accommodate the greatest number of residents.
• Transports vehicle to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on vehicles as scheduled by supervisor.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out on a regular schedule and completes a safety check of the vehicles before transporting residents to and from scheduled trips or activities.
• Report any moving violation against your driver’s license to your supervisor within 24 hours of citation.

Requirements

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:

• High school education preferred
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (DLP) or regular driver’s license in the State of South Carolina. Must have and maintain a good driving record.
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents at all times.
