Program Expansion and Operations Specialist

The Program Expansion and Operations Specialist will work closely with the National Director to manage operations and support the growth of Kayitz Kef programs across North America and Israel. They will coordinate logistics for program activities, interviews, and trainings in both regions. The role includes overseeing the maintenance and development of the internal portal, with a focus on early childhood Hebrew immersion materials and translation between Hebrew and English. The specialist will also support expansion efforts in the Northeast, South and Midwest through documentation, onboarding coordination, and tracking new partnerships.
Job Description:
Coordinate complex operational logistics, including scheduling, travel, and communication for program activities, interviews, and trainings across the United States and Israel – 25%
Maintain and expand the Kayitz Kef portal, which houses experiential curriculum, early childhood content, and training materials - Participate in the ongoing development and organization of portal content for diverse age groups, with special focus on early childhood learners and heritage speakers – 25%
Translate and adapt program materials and communications between Hebrew and English with linguistic and cultural accuracy – 15%
Research funder and grant opportunities and assist director in development of fundraising collateral. 15%
Support strategic program expansion through documentation, onboarding coordination, and tracking of new partnerships – 10%
Collaborate with team members to ensure that operational systems align with the program’s educational vision and goals – 5%
Join planning and strategy meetings to help shape the infrastructure that supports the program’s continued growth – 5%
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Teaching Hebrew, Applied Linguistics, or a similar field.
3-5 years of relevant work experience teaching Hebrew in informal settings. Camp settings preferred. Experience working with Israeli families Background in and understanding of theories of language acquisition.
Minimum level of supervisory experience should be for counselors and/or assistant teachers.
Experience in camping and/or other informal settings
An early childhood background is required.
