Job Duties:                

• Collaborate with Users, Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to foster ideation and deliver cutting-edge software solutions.
• Transform designer mock-ups and wireframes into visually captivating and seamless front-end experiences for both websites and mobile applications.
• Employ Test First and Acceptance Criteria Driven approaches to continuously test and deliver high-quality software.
• Implement mobile responsive designs to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices.
• Design and develop API services while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements, such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Actively pursue continuous professional growth by staying updated on new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Engage in educational opportunities, keeping informed through professional publications, nurturing personal and professional networks, and actively participating in relevant professional organizations. 
• Other duties as assigned.

 

5% domestic travel is required; international travel is highly unlikely but may be required in rare cases.

 

Position fully remote – will have opportunity to work from home from the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA and WV.

Qualifications

Requirements:          

The position of Sr. Software Engineer requires a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in software product development,

 

Additionally, the applicant must have the following:

• Programming languages: C# orNET & JavaScript
• Software frameworks: ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ADO.Net, or Entity Framework
• Frontend scripting languages: jQuery or React
• Application programming interface: Web API, Web Services, Windows Communication Foundation or Ajax
• Unit testing frameworks: Microsoft Quality tools or xUnit
• Version control/Project management tools: GIT or Azure DevOps server
• Application Integration (deployment) / Pipeline management: Azure CI/CD Pipelines
