About this Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Resolution Associate to lead the evaluation and resolution of complex commercial credit relationships within a dynamic and risk-focused environment. This role is responsible for driving resolution strategies on challenged credits, influencing key decisions, mitigating enterprise risk, and partnering across business lines to deliver effective outcomes. The successful candidate will bring deep credit insight, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sophisticated borrower situations while contributing to the overall strength and performance of the portfolio.
In this Role, You Will
Lead complex initiatives, including cross-functional efforts with broad organizational impact, and contribute to large-scale planning within the Credit Resolution function.
Analyze complex business, operational, and credit-related challenges that require evaluation of multiple factors, including unique and precedent-setting circumstances.
Exercise sound judgment and make decisions in multifaceted situations by applying knowledge of Credit Resolution policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Credit Resolution peers, business partners, and management to resolve issues, execute resolution strategies, and achieve business objectives.
Lead projects and workstreams, mentor team members, and contribute to the ongoing development of Credit Resolution best practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Credit Resolution experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications
5+ years of commercial or corporate lending experience in a credit-focused role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in commercial or corporate workout, special assets, restructuring, or credit resolution.
Working knowledge of loan documentation, including credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related legal documents.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize findings and present recommendations effectively.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00Benefits
