We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Finance with a solid academic background and a desire to influence a cleaner future through the electrification of the transportation space. This role will manage high visibility discussions and analysis with the Senior Executive Leadership Team to ensure the company is evaluating material transactions thoroughly.
As a member of our growing Finance team you will partner with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to help secure the success of the company. The Role:

  • Evaluate transaction proposals for financial implications and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure each analysis is thoroughly evaluated before Senior Executive Leadership and/or Board of Director review
  • Drive budget accountability and corporate governance by leading Senior Executive Leadership reviews of strategic proposals from across the company
  • Responsible for driving data integrity cross-functionally to ensure accurate and consistent communication 
  • Ensure operating team alignment and thorough material preparation to drive clear communication and recommendations to the Senior Executive Leadership team and/or Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define strategic proposals and drive accountability when Senior Executive Leadership feedback requires further consideration
  • Actively participate with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making across the company
  • Partner closely with all internal stakeholders and operating teams to provide clear financial analysis and guidance on operational decisions
  • Support the preparation and alignment of Board of Director and/or Earnings Call materials
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and projects with financial analysis and business case development providing strategic and tactical advice / feedback to leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) – preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years of preparing/presenting materials for Senior Executive Leadership
  • Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to Senior Executive Leadership 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
  • Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to be collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing cross-functionally, creating effective internal business partnerships
  • Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Established ability using Microsoft Office suite, particularly high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Finance Manager experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier – a huge plus!
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.·       California (Bay Area) - $131,000 – $187,000 Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
