The SAP Integration Manager is a pivotal role that bridges business and IT domains, providing leadership to a dedicated integration team and ensuring seamless, uninterrupted operational support across global systems and business partners. This role demands the ownership and successful delivery of a greenfield implementation of the SAP BTP Integration Suite as part of a larger SAP S4/HANA ERP implementation. The incumbent should bring substantial knowledge of this platform, offering expert oversight on architecture, implementation, and planning for sustained operational support.
The SAP Integration Manager, demonstrating robust leadership skills, will guide the integration team to achieve excellence in 24x7 global operations. With a background in end-to-end ERP implementation, this role is strategically positioned to realize the organization's business integration objectives. It also champions robust, effective communication and collaboration between IT and various business units.
Role & Responsibility
Application Integration Architecture
- Develop application integration standards, architecture, and platform
- Develop roadmap for future application integration platform and architecture
- Implement the roadmap for application integration platform and architecture
- Ensure consistency with the overall enterprise architecture and governance policies
Information Architecture
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on application integration flow with source, target, information elements and protocols
Application Integration Governance
- Develop application integration technology standards with latest technology trends
- Review and approve application integration request raised from PIT projects (new solution, expansion of existing solutions) and solution enhancement
Application Integration Platform Operations
- Lead and mentor a team of application developers
- Monitor application integration platform runtime status such as incidents, change request backlogs, infrastructure operational status, etc.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of application integration platforms
- Report service level of application integration platform to PIT Enterprise Architecture Director
Continuous Improvement
- Use data driven metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in stabilizing runtime operations through root cause analysis on recurring incidents, critical incidents
- Develop and manage continuous improvement action plan
- Follow up continuous action plan and evaluate the results
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration (MIS), is required. MBA or MS in a relevant computing field is preferred
- A minimum of 10+ years' experience in a related field
- Proficiency in Application Integration Development, including Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API implementation and EDI
- Detailed knowledge and experience working with the SAP BTP platform
- Experience with enterprise business applications (e.g., SAP S4/HANA, Oracle ERP, PLM, Salesforce, etc.)
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, specifically AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Kinesis etc.)
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills to handle any issues that arise during the design, implementation, or maintenance of the integration architecture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to travel, as this is a global position with a travel
