AIM Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”) senior analyst role, reporting to the AIM Chief Compliance officer, that supports senior team members in administering Allianz Investment Management’s compliance and risk activities by leveraging SQL and data analysis expertise. Requires working knowledge of investment adviser compliance and risk disciplines. Ambitions include the ability to create automated solutions such as creating apps for desktops.
This role supports multiple compliance and risk activities across multiple programs. Administers various core compliance activities (such as code of ethics and portfolio compliance monitoring) as well as performing control testing and monitoring. This will also be an important role in conducting data analytics and reporting.
What you do:
- Administer core GRC activities under the direction of senior team members (e.g., code of ethics administration; portfolio administration in Aladdin and Bloomberg; regulatory change log).
- Perform GRC testing and monitoring activities (e.g., electronic communications monitoring; testing support).
- Conduct data analytics and prepare reporting. Assist in designing and implementing data driven analytics. Establish automated solutions.
- Support various AIM GRC program activities, projects, and documentation under direct supervision (e.g., policy administration; risk assessments; corporate rules administration, IMAs/IPS documentation).
What you bring:
- Experience and Education: Four-year degree or relevant Investment management experience preferred; compliance and risk experience preferred and/or data/systems background - education or experience preferred
- Prefer four-year degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, financial engineering or related data/systems background – education or experience
- Ability to demonstrate credible and adequate knowledge of investment adviser compliance and risk management
- Ability to communicate complex topics in such a way that they can be understood by people with a wide variety of backgrounds, including non-technical backgrounds
- Broad and effective communication skills to work with executives, third-parties, managers and front-line employees through various verbal and written formats.
- Programming and database management experience preferred
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
Range $57,000 - $114,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive
