Location: USA Based remote. 

Pay: $18000-$190000

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using modern web technologies

• Design and implement front-end and back-end components and services

• Collaborate with team members to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices

• Implement security and data protection measures

• Integrate third-party APIs and services as required

• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance

• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Participate in code reviews, discussions, and feature planning meetings

• Maintain and improve software development processes and practices

 

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• This job is 75% remote with 25% travel (about 3-4 times a year)

• 5+ years’ experience in web development using front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks)

• 3+ years’ experience with back-end development and server-side languages/frameworks (Go, Python, and Node.js)

• Experience using libraries for building user interfaces

• Knowledge of Microservices, Docker Containers and cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes etc.

• Basic devops management; deploying servers and configuring SSL / DNS / Databases etc. Experience working with Amazon Web Services a plus.

• Ability to write basic CRUD queries for PostgreSQL, mySQL and mongodb

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

• Comfortable using unit and behavior test frameworks, libraries and tools

• Understanding of responsive design concepts and practices

• Familiarity with commercial and open-source development environments and tools for purposes such as source control, continuous integration, IDE etc.

• Exposure to Agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban

Annual Salary$180,000—$190,000 USD
