IN-HOME RESPITE PROVIDER – Eau Claire, WI Are you compassionate, patient, and looking for meaningful part-time work that truly makes a difference? We’re looking for a nurturing and reliable caregiver to support a set of brothers who both have unique emotional and developmental needs. This is a weekday evening role, perfect for someone who enjoys creating calm, structured routines and helping children end their day with confidence. The ideal candidate will be someone with a gentle presence who can provide reassurance and consistency. You’ll be part of a caring team that values patience, positivity, and genuine connection. If you’re someone who finds joy in helping children grow and feel safe, we’d love to meet you! SHIFTS:o 25 hours per weeko On-call and flexible scheduling options – you can collaborate with the family to create a schedule that works for everyone then must be reliable and stick to that schedule that was built.o Evening hours or weekend coverage is a priority, but flexibility is appreciated for additional support as opportunities arise WAGE:o Brother #1 (alone) : $17.66 per houro Brother #2 (alone) : $14.13 per houro Both boys together : $17.70 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:As an In-Home Respite Provider, you’ll play an important role in the child’s life and overall comfort. Responsibilities include:o Providing calm, compassionate care and supervision during the evening routineo Assisting with meal times and giving verbal prompts for hydrationo Supporting with toileting and diaper changes in a patient, respectful wayo Handling meltdowns or emotional moments with empathy and clear, consistent boundarieso Engaging in fun activities the child enjoys — such as singing favorite songs (Plankton/Roblox soundtracks), light play, or brief Roblox sessions as part of the morning routineo Creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where the child can feel supported and ready for the day ahead WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are:o Patient, calm, and grounded - able to handle emotional or sensory challenges with empathyo Reliable and c
