Audiologist – Adult Vestibular Focus
Location: Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Satellite Clinics
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Business Hours (No weekends or holidays)
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a skilled, flexible, and compassionate Audiologist to join our collaborative team specializing in adult otology and vestibular care. Our interdisciplinary approach allows audiologists to work closely with ENT, neurology, and rehabilitation professionals to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for evaluating, treating, and counseling adult patients with hearing and vestibular disorders. The position includes Vestibular evaluations and ENT diagnostics. The audiologist will contribute to patient care, outcomes, and system improvement initiatives, and will provide services at both the main medical center and satellite clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments using appropriate methods and equipment
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams on hearing and balance disorders
Participate in mentoring Au.D. students and contribute to clinical education
Support outreach and care delivery at satellite clinic locations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
Valid Tennessee state license as an audiologist or eligibility to obtain before the start date
Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA preferred
Two or more years of relevant clinical experience preferred
