Job Description

This position exists to coordinate, execute, and manage projects as identified by the Dean of Academic Affairs-Trades and Transportation for the CDL programing at Riverland Community College. All projects are collaborative with Minnesota State college partners, prospective students, finding and scheduling instructors, industry partners in each project, and national partners in each project. This position exists to coordinate assigned projects from start to finish and to handle multiple projects, often with overlapping timelines.

Salary Range:

$52,806.00 - $76,650.00

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience as an instructor, related staff, coordinator, project coordinator/manager, or administrator -OR- an equivalent combination of education and experience.  An Associate degree could be substituted for 6-months of experience, a bachelor’s degree is 12-months and a master’s degree is 18-months.

• Ability to interact and relate well with all segments of the education and business community and all stakeholders.

• Experience with project coordination or management. Ability to complete and manage multiple projects with deadlines.

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing to diverse audiences and motivate others through written and oral presentations, excellent interpersonal skills.

• Computer skills and a general working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualification 

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution.

• 4 or more years of work experience at a technical college or university with transportation programs or a private company’s training program.

• Website and social media management or maintenance experience.

• Experience in the Transportation sector

• Bilingual/Multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.

• Demonstrated experience working with a multicultural and underserved populations.
