We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Manager to join our Project Management Office. The manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of project managers as well as overseeing and managing one or more programs or projects implementing security measures to protect our organization's information assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role will be responsible for managing and developing a team of project management professionals, assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues, and coordinating with other projects and work groups.What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, hold accountability, and provide constructive feedback to project managers.
- Develop and implement training and development programs for project managers.
- Address any personnel issues or conflicts within the team, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance and project status.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest project management trends, technologies, and methodologies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
- Develop project deliverables including program and project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Provide solutions and identify appropriate resources needed and manage schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
- Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Develop and implement project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, budgets, and allocation of available resources.
- Conduct risk monitoring and controls during a project's duration to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget.
- Work closely with the end users, business technologies, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project.
- Ensure operational and financial controls are not adversely affected by project activities and deliverables.
- Integrate vendor tasks and manage vendor deliverables as needed to ensure project success.
- Organize project team and assign individual responsibilities.
- Recommend and drive the analysis and solutions of complex problems.
- Identify and resolve issues to complete projects on time and within budget.
- May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- Generally, Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Typically have 5+ years' proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Typically have 9+ years' of directly related experience with strong knowledge of project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
