Oversees the day-to-day management of Human Resources (HR) Data operations, ensuring data
accuracy, consistency, and compliance with district policies. Provides guidance on data management
practices, system processes, and reporting. Collaborates with Office of Talent, Department of
Technology Services (DoTS), and Payroll teams to support data integrity, improve workflows, and
enhance the efficiency of HR systems.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and support the Human Resources Data team, providing guidance on data management practices and resolving escalated issues.
• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of human resources (HR) data, ensuring compliance with District policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, DoTS, and Payroll teams to streamline data workflows and support cross-functional projects.
• Manage and review regular data audits, identifying discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HRIS processes, partnering with DoTS to resolve system issues.
• Monitor and analyze HR data trends to identify areas for process improvement and increased data accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of HR metrics to support district Decision-making.
•  Assist in the development and implementation of data governance standards and procedures.
• Train and mentor HR staff on data management best practices and HRIS functionality.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements by participating in testing and validating data accuracy

What You’ll Need: 

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 5 years of HR Data Management or HRIS experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Knowledge of HCM systems, especially Oracle Fusion
• Strong expertise in Oracle databases, applications, and infrastructure, and experience with technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance system performance preferred.  
• Knowledge of HR data management principles and data governance best practices
• Understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as it relates to data privacy and HR compliance
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
