About The Position


Hours:  8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST , Monday to Friday

Location:  Remote


The Project Manager II manages mid-level technical projects, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and engages with customers to ensure project success. This role involves overseeing project execution, managing risks, and providing strategic input to align project goals with business objectives.



Essential Functions

  • Manages a moderate number of projects, which may vary in complexity and require balancing competing priorities.
  • Manages and maintains project documents and data management. 
  • Leads, executes, monitors, and controls technical projects from original concept through final implementation. 
  • Creates documents such as: lessons learned, project plan, milestone list. 
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and IT management team to prioritize projects and assemble necessary project resources. 
  • Engages directly with high-level customers, stakeholders, and executives to communicate project strategies, progress, and outcomes.
  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates project risks and issues, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Prepares project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, while contributing to defining project scope, setting milestones, and tracking progress.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across various departments.
  • Drives process improvements and ensures the application of best practices in project management.
  • Monitors and reports on project performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Performance measured by successful management of moderately complex projects.
  • Focus on budget adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and project timelines.
  • Communicates accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall project health to stakeholders via required measures and methods (such as status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards). 
  • Ensures timely approvals and follows corporate and department standards, policies, and procedures. 
  • Reviews project deliverables, especially technical artifacts. 
  • Manages technical vendor team, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. 
  • Plans, coordinates, and tracks status of the migration jobs (workflows, mappings, and sessions) 
  • May be assigned to waterfall or agile projects as needed.
  • Provides cross-functional data support as needed.
  • Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
  • Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback to improve processes and policies.
  • Attends all department, team, and weekly company meetings as required.

  • May perform additional responsibilities or special projects as required.
  • Duties and responsibilities may change based on departmental needs.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent educational experience.
  • 3 years of experience in project management or related field, including experience with technical projects or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Agile methodologies, project management tools, and techniques.
  • Effective skills in managing customer interactions
