Jefferson Health is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished academic physician for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, part of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, research, and teaching in medical oncology, and will contribute to our mission of advancing cancer treatment and improving patient outcomes.Job Description
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical oncology.
- Lead or participate in clinical and/or translational research projects.
- Engage in teaching activities with medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Jefferson Health.
- Mentor junior faculty and trainees in clinical practice and research.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Medical Oncology.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 5 years of academic experience in oncology.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching.
- Strong publication record and experience with grant-funded research preferred.
