We are searching for a talented Pharmacist - Retail

 

Hours: Per Diem  

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 6:00pm variable with weekend and holiday rotation  

Location: Retail Pharmacy - Fairhaven, MA; Willing to work at all (3) retail pharmacy sites (Fall River, New Bedford, Fairhaven) to provide coverage as needed.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Retail Pharmacy Director or Designee. Perform a variety of professional services and responsibilities related to the clinical review and dispensing of outpatient drug therapy. Keep current and remain knowledgeable of computer applications and pertinent state and federal law/regulations. Provide technical direction and supervision of assigned personnel. Provide vaccinations and communicate with patients and other health care professionals to optimize medication therapy.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Pharmacy is required. Previous hospital and retail experience is preferred. One (1) year of related experience is preferred. Consideration is given to new graduates.

Must be a Registered Pharmacist in good standing, licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy. Current Massachusetts Immunization Certification.

Pay Range

USD $54.69 - USD $68.87 /Hr.
