Objective:
The Director of Marketing oversees and executes the company's marketing strategy to drive business growth, enhance brand awareness, and ensure consistency across all marketing channels. The role requires strategic planning, creative leadership, and data-driven decision-making to build and sustain the company’s marketing efforts across digital and traditional platforms. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who can lead a team, collaborate across departments, and use innovative tactics to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement the marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Oversee all aspects of marketing campaigns, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring optimal results.
- Lead and Demand Generation: Drive lead and demand generation initiatives with proven experience in both B2B and B2C channels, leveraging innovative strategies to maximize outreach and engagement.
- Data-Driven Campaign Development: Source and utilize third-party data to inform marketing strategies and develop impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Broker and Partner Marketing Support: Provide comprehensive support for broker and partner marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives.
- Conference and Trade Show Management: Organize and support conferences and trade shows, monitoring engagement and ensuring effective representation of the company.
- Brand Management: Lead efforts to define and maintain a consistent brand presence. Monitor brand health and recommend adjustments to ensure the company’s positioning in the market remains competitive.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals. Cultivate a collaborative and creative work environment to foster innovation and growth. Set team goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide regular feedback.
- Campaign Management & Performance Analysis: Oversee the development, execution, and performance tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital (social media, email, SEO/SEM, PPC), traditional advertising (print, TV, radio), and events. Analyze results to optimize campaign performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that all campaigns and activities stay within financial parameters while maximizing ROI.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Support: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business goals, product launches, and customer engagement efforts. Provide marketing support for other departments as needed.
- Market Research & Trends: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Use insights to inform decision-making and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Customer Engagement & Retention: Implement and refine customer acquisition and retention strategies, focusing on improving customer lifetime value and enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Digital Transformation & Innovation: Lead the adoption of emerging digital marketing tools, technologies, and trends. Stay ahead of the curve in terms of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creative, innovative, and strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum ROI.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot CRM and AMS).
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $130,000 t
