Overview
Presbyterian Healthcare is hiring a EPIC Environment Manager to define, develop, implement Epic change control processes while optimizing change management workflows across Epic IT teams.
The EPIC Environment Manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating essential Epic environment activities—including updates, upgrades, build migrations, ensuring smooth transitions between environments. This role serves as a key liaison between Epic application teams and Epic infrastructure teams to drive operational excellence.

Remote: Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: California, Illinois, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wyoming

The ideal candidate in this role will have:
- Proven experience managing complex Epic environments, including orchestrating upgrades, updates, build migrations across multiple instances.
- Deep expertise in Epic change control processes with a track record of streamlining and enhancing change management for IT teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively bridge Epic application and infrastructure teams.
- Advanced knowledge in release management, environment strategy, Epic system lifecycle planning within a healthcare IT ecosystem.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree in a related field preferred
- 5 years EPIC experience
- Epic Certification preferred.
- ITIL certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Epic Data Courier Team, database administrators, hyperspace deployment administrators, web/service server administrators.
- Manage multiple Epic environments, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to identify and implement technology solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Support statewide technology operations, including electronic health records, population health, healthcare analytics, business intelligence systems.
- Serve as the primary contact for technical issues and general inquiries related to assigned applications.
- Work directly with Epic representatives and end users to ensure system functionality aligns with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Triage and escalate end-user issues to the appropriate application owner when necessary.
