The Role at a Glance
In this role, you will produce the quarterly and monthly valuations for Lincoln’s variable annuity block of business, and partner with internal stakeholders to analyze and gain insights into results.
What you'll be doing
- Produce statutory reserves and capital results under VM-21 for reporting and Lincoln’s VA hedging program.
- Partner with Market Risk Management to report the VA MRB results under LDTI.
- Develop modeling software expertise in GGY-AXIS for variable annuities and RILA products.
- Build on existing automation efforts within Dataiku and Tableau to increase efficiency, reduce the potential for error and improve presentation of results.
- Collaborate with the Capital Management area to build new tools and processes to gain further insights into VA capital.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Market Risk Management (MRM), Model Development, Pricing, Audit, ERM, Investments and Capital Management.
What we’re looking for

- 7-10 years of actuarial experience
- Demonstrated accountability
- Strong execution and time management skills
- Driven and motivated to produce high quality work and meet reporting deadlines
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- FSA designation (preferred) or ASA designation (required)
- AXIS modeling experience strongly preferred

The pay range for this position is $108,501 - $195,900 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
