Senior Software Program Manager

The Leidos National Security Sector has an opening for an experienced Senior Software Program Manger to provide management and planning of software development, integration, test and operations for weapon system network architecture, Electronic Sensor Management, survivability systems and advanced communications external interfaces.  The successful candidate will provide expert advice to program leadership on industry best practices for embedded/real-time operating system development, test, configuration management, and quality assurance.

Primary focus and responsibilities:

• Manage the software configuration control processes
• Provide expert consultation on quality assurance and software safety practices to a government/industry team
• Advise the development of hardware and software functionality and performance specifications
• Work with government and industry teams to develop plans and evaluate results
• Coordinate product and process improvements for the overall workflow and processes that are being used
• Work with the Chief Engineer to ensure requests align with the program’s goals and vision

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years recent experience managing projects, especially in project planning and data analysis
• Experience managing USG acquisition programs
• BA degree from an accredited university
• Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered.

• TS//SCI eligible

• Dayton, OH Area

Travel:

• 25% travel

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
