Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing's Human Resources (HR) function is currently seeking an Experienced Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join its HR team in San Antonio, TX.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive team aimed at shaping the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value for the San Antonio Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul portfolio and beyond. By partnering with managers, and employees, you will have a critical role in driving business value, a best-in-class employee experience, and effective delivery of HR programs, services, and support in the following key areas: 

  • Hiring/staffing

  • Workforce planning

  • Employee movement

  • Equity, diversity and inclusion 

  • Employee engagement

  • Career and employee development

  • Employee performance

  • Leadership coaching and development

  • Integration and partnership across Operations and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) including Ethics, Labor Relations, Total Rewards, and Legal


Position Responsibilities:

  • Deploys and administers HR programs, policies, practices, and processes and serves as subject matter expert (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)

  • Develops and/or implements integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives

  • Provides consultation and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices, processes as well as utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion

  • Champions Boeing's Enterprise Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commitments and provide guidance on deploying enterprise-level activities in alignment with Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI)

  • Influences HR priorities, skill and talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment, etc.

  • Tracks and analyzes staffing and diversity strategy performance and recommends or implements corrective solutions

  • Partners with leadership to implement workforce strategies to meet organizational objectives

  • Provides a visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real-time engagement and solutions

  • Works closely with HR COEs to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Utilizes HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understands the effectiveness of support provided

  • Supports the continuing transformation of HR via HR process implementation and continuous technological improvements in Workday  

  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation that are consistent with organizational objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in HR or Employee Relations

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, and processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement

  • 3+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification (SHRM and/or PHR Certification)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

  • Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrat
