About the role
The Role
At Linktree, we’re building the connective layer for the internet — helping creators, brands and businesses curate and share everything they do in one simple link. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Communications to help us tell that story to the world.
You’ll lead PR and earned media efforts that put Linktree in front of the right people — from creators and culture-makers to business press and tech media. The right candidate will be able to think outside the box when it comes to communications and able to leverage not only traditional PR outlets, but think about creators and brands as their own form of PR.
What you’ll own

- Build and drive our PR engine: leading all press-facing activations, owning relationships with outlets and helping support major launches and initiatives.
- Tell the right stories: proactively pitch ideas, shape narratives, and secure earned media that advances our positioning globally.
- Be ready to react: jump on timely media opportunities, manage inbound press requests, and help us respond thoughtfully to the headlines of the day.
- Partner cross-functionally: work closely with product, marketing, execs, and community leads to surface great stories and make sure they land in the right places.
What we’re looking for
- A PR pro with 7–10+ years experience, including time spent in-house at a fast-moving consumer tech company or startup.
- A sharp storyteller who knows how to translate product, brand and creator moments into newsworthy narratives.
- A strong media strategist who understands the earned landscape across tech, business, culture, and creator economy press.
- Someone who’s comfortable both building strategy and rolling up sleeves, from developing long-lead ideas to jumping in on reactive comms.
Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $180,000-$200,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.
