Associate Treasury Accountant

Bumble is looking for a detail-oriented Associate Treasury Accountant to join our Corporate Treasury team. The Associate Treasury Accountant will be responsible for ensuring daily postings and monthly reconciliation deadlines are met for all treasury transactions (including cash, debt, investments, and derivatives).
You will be part of a talented, global team of Accounting and Finance professionals.
The position will be based in Austin or New York and report to the Head of Global Treasury based in Austin.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the implementation of Oracle NetSuite’s banking & cash management modules
• Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvements to drive efficiencies and improve visibility to key business metrics
• Ensure daily postings and monthly reconciliation deadlines are met for all treasury transactions (including cash, debt, investments, and derivatives)
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Revenue, Payroll, Tax, and Legal teams to ensure payments are processed accurately, timely and with sufficient SOX control documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure all audit requests are complete and accurate
• Assist with transaction inquiries and bank support requests for audit or other purposes
• Coordinate with GL Accounting, AP and Revenue teams during month-end close cycles to ensure all journal posting deadlines are met

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with a strong understanding international cash & treasury accounting 
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP accounting and SOX controls
• Experience working with a global public company
• Experience with ERP accounting software solutions, Oracle Netsuite a plus
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
