Cybersecurity Engineer | Gouverance & Risk Management

<p>This position is focused on modern security operations, infrastructure protection and cyber resilience within a growing consulting environment.</p><p>We are working with an ambitious consulting company<strong> supporting organisations across multiple industries</strong> in strengthening their cybersecurity posture, securing critical infrastructures and improving compliance with international security standards. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As part of the cybersecurity team, you will contribute to<strong> technical security projects, help clients mitigate cyber risks</strong> and support the implementation of robust security solutions across complex IT environments.</p>Cybersecurity Engineer - Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and <strong>implement security controls</strong> across client infrastructures and cloud environments</li><li>Support vulnerability management, threat detection and incident response activities</li><li>Participate in <strong>security assessments</strong>, technical audits and remediation projects</li><li>Contribute to the improvement of governance, security policies and operational procedures</li><li>Work with infrastructure and IT teams to strengthen overall <strong>cyber resilience</strong></li><li>Assist in deploying and maintaining security technologies and monitoring solutions</li></ul> Cybersecurity Engineer - Profile<ul><li>At least<strong>3 years of experience</strong>in cybersecurity, infrastructure security or security engineering</li><li>Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management and security best practices</li><li>Hands-on experience with technologies such as<strong>Microsoft Defender, SIEM solutions, EDR, firewalls, IAM or vulnerability management tools</strong></li><li>Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as<strong>ISO27001, NIS2, NIST or CIS Controls</strong></li><li>Strong analytical mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach</li><li>Fluent in Dutch and English</li></ul>
