Accounting Manager/Controller (On-site)

Position must be located in Albany, NY
This role is Salaried, Exempt
Salary Range - 90k - 100k
Responsibilities:- Lead the month end close process and draft financial statements each month
- Review and complete Balance sheet reconciliations in support of monthly financial statements
- Day to day supervision of the accounting department- Drive process improvement and documentation and monitor compliance with GAAP
- Oversee outside sales tax reporting resource- Support AR staff with monthly AIA billing cycle, and identify issues and implement improvements in billing tracking and related process
- Support Director of Finance and CFO as needed
- Support year end tax related filings (1099s, etc.)
- Assist is providing support for attestation servicesDesired Qualifications:- BA/BS in Accounting- Knowledge of 'percentage of completion' revenue recognition and AIA / GC Project - Strong aptitude for ERP systems - Netsuite Experience a Plus- Ability to spot issues and identify risk
- Management or Supervisor Experience a Plus- Strong Interpersonal Skills Required
- Strong Excel skills required
