About the role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic team in testing our game Seedworld. As a QA Tester, your primary objectives will be to conduct manual tests and perform bug regression to ensure the highest quality and performance of our game. You will work closely with a team of testers on a daily basis, collaborating to identify and resolve issues effectively. Additionally, you will partner with software developers to investigate bugs and suggest improvements, playing a vital role in enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Responsibilities:Conduct manual testing on new builds, ensuring that all features and functionalities are thoroughly tested.Record detailed test results, including any anomalies or inconsistencies, and provide comprehensive feedback to the development team.Utilize Jira to accurately log, track, and manage defects, ensuring that all issues are documented and prioritized for resolution.Work closely with other QA team members, contributing to a collaborative and efficient testing process.Anticipate potential issues and suggest improvements, maintaining a proactive mindset, especially when working under pressure.
RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in the gaming industry or a related field, with a solid understanding of game testing processes.Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing is highly desired, enabling efficient and effective testing cycles.Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the game are thoroughly tested and issues are identified.Skilled in using test management software to organize and execute test cases.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying test results and collaborating with the team.A keen interest in video games, both professionally and personally, is a plus, as it enhances the understanding and enthusiasm for the role.
Location:100% remote.Preference towards APAC timezones.
