Client Representative Intern – Global Shareholder ServicesStart Your Career in Financial Services

As a Client Representative Intern within our Global Shareholder Services (GSS) team, you’ll gain real‑world experience supporting financial advisors and shareholders while developing valuable skills for a future career in financial services.

Internship Details
- Start Date: June 8, 2026 (in‑office, in person)
- Location: St Petersburg, FL (Must be able to commute to the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)
- Training Schedule:
- Global training class: 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday
- Work Schedule:
- Hybrid model: In‑office Tuesday–Thursday
- Optional remote work Monday & Friday
- Flexible hours between 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. local time
- Duration: Summer 2026, with potential extension
- Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
What You’ll Do
As a Client Representative Intern, you’ll gain exposure to the investment management industry while supporting real client interactions. You will:
- Learn the fundamentals of the mutual fund and investment services industry
- Develop knowledge of Franklin Templeton’s products, services, and operations
- Communicate professionally with financial advisors and shareholders
- Execute financial and non‑financial transactions accurately and compliantly
- Deliver high‑quality, confidential, and customer‑focused service
- Participate in comprehensive training, mentoring, and ongoing coaching
What You’ll Learn:
Interns in Global Shareholder Services gain practical experience in:

Ideal Qualifications:
Successful candidates typically have:
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student
- Interest in financial services or investment management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfort learning new systems and technology
No prior financial services experience is required—just a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35-40 (dependent on state/location) hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $18 (dependent on location and function) USD per hour.
