Quality Manager - Manufacturing

Description

• Oversee activities of the Quality Control Department, Supervision of Assistant Manager, and activities of Employees
• Develop long-term goals and strategies to advance business objective in line with department annual plan
• Familiar with Black Belt or TPS System
• Direct and assign work schedules, assignments, tasks, and duties
• Train and develop employees to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy
• Review entire departments employee performance reviews
• Monitor results and processes to proactively maximize production and eliminate waste
• Prepare departmental reports and present them to executive management based on department plan or Hoshin
• Complete necessary documentation, such as status changes, time-off requests, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with peers in sharing information to address business needs
• Develop and implement standard work instructions
• Establish and grow long-term working relationship with customers
• Knowledgeable of KPI and Company expectations

Other Job Functions

• Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards 
• Perform 5-S activities

Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in a manufacturing QC environment, with 5+ years as a Quality Control Manager or Assistant Manager
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be willing to cross-train
• Must be able to work company’s required overtime
• Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
