Business Analyst (USDA, Forest Service)

IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the USDA, Forest Service PMOSS (Program Management Office Support Services). The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Manager/Team Lead in project activities and the development of project artifacts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with key project activities, tasks, and artifacts.
• Work collaboratively with team members on work assignments, correct work discrepancies.
• Aware of project management key activities.
• Support requirements gathering sessions by reviewing and preparing materials for the session.
• Support all aspects of user acceptance testing including drafting test plans and scenarios, document action items, and review the issue register.
• Actively participates in project team meetings and promptly communicate issues to the Project Manager.
• Capture meeting notes and maintains all project artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Business or Computer Science and 1-2 years related experience OR minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  

Clearance Requirements:

• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• US Citizenship required.
