Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Mission Critical/Data Center Projects
What this job involves: This role directs senior-level project management services for JLL's assigned clients, focusing primarily on technical and mission-critical projects, particularly data centers and critical manufacturing operations. You'll serve as the primary senior contact throughout project lifecycles, managing complex client relationships while overseeing all aspects of construction project delivery—from initial planning through successful completion. This position requires balancing strategic project leadership with hands-on execution to ensure superior client service and project success.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Developing and executing project-specific goals, schedules, budgets, and detailed strategies while establishing success criteria that meet both JLL and client needs
• Acting as the primary senior-level client contact throughout project duration, building and maintaining confidence and rapport through face-to-face, telephonic, and online interactions
• Guiding clients and teams through the complete design implementation process, including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and signoff phases
• Developing detailed project budgets based on historical and market data, then managing project performance against schedules, milestones, and critical path items across multiple projects
• Preparing RFPs for vendor and contractor services, managing selection processes, and overseeing vendor and project team performance to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
• Facilitating and initiating all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders, and external users to ensure responsibilities are clearly communicated
• Coordinating due diligence efforts on behalf of internal teams, project partners, clients, and end users while maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation
• Identifying, managing, and mitigating areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk related to fees, reputation, and errors and omissions
• Contributing to business development by enhancing team revenues through maintenance and expansion of existing client relationships and developing new relationships
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
• 7+ years being responsible in charge of Tier 2, 3, or 4 Data Center(s) or Critical Manufacturing Operation(s)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management or related activity
• Ability to regularly articulate and communicate analyzed data to clients and teams to achieve project goals
• Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills and ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively (budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders)
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client representatives)
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project
• Availability for occasional travel (0%-50%)
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• LEED, AIA, PE, or PMP certifications

Estimated compensation for this position:
170,000.00 – 175,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
