About the FrontierView Engineering TeamThe FrontierView Engineering team is a global function, responsible for web and mobile applications and data tools and systems for FrontierView employees and clients.
About YouYou will be a key member of the Product Development team responsible for building and enhancing software applications with a focus on supporting big data processing that powers our world-class workflow tools aimed at multinational executives.  We currently leverage modern web technologies and frameworks, such as Node.js and React, as well as Python, DynamoDB, and MySQL for our data processing platform. The Software Developer will also participate in building new workflow applications spanning FrontierView’s internal and external client base that enables higher efficiencies, drives product adoption, and develops technological assets.
You are a full-stack developer with an ability to quickly understand and work in various technology environments, solve complex problems, and deliver thoughtful solutions. You have the ability to work in a rapid-paced environment, the desire to make a significant impact, learn and apply new technology, and have a passion for technology.

What To Expect In This Position:

  • Develop web applications including APIs
  • Work with your engineering teammates to solve complex problems
  • Collaborate with non-technical roles to build the correct internal and external products
  • Review teammates’ pull requests

What Sets You Apart:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years as a full stack developer (front-end and back-end), preferably with experience using
  • modern programming languages
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-technical roles
  • Proven ability to use multiple languages in a production environment
  • Self-starter, able to work out details independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated thirst for knowledge, always learning new frameworks and technologies
  • Web development experience using React, vanilla JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, and CSS, as well as lightweight Javascript frameworks.
  • Core understanding of database design/concepts and development experience in both relational (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
