Job Summary
Responsibilities
Assist in the research, development and/or application of machine learning models to clinical data.
Work closely with postdoctoral researchers and other members of the lab to support the design and implementation of novel models to examine clinical data cross multiple modalities (e.g., text and imaging data).
Participate in the evaluation and validation of developed models across multiple datasets and/or settings.
Support lab efforts to publish research findings in scientific journals and/or present research findings at relevant scientific conferences and seminars.
Participate in lab activities including collaborative meetings, offering feedback to other members of the lab, literature review and preparing materials for research presentations.
Provides routine or standardized laboratory duties by collecting data in support of research projects under direct supervision.
Collects and enters data. Assists in analysis of data and with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).---

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics or a related field.
Experience:
Relevant research experience.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Programming skills in Python or other languages commonly used for statistical programming (e.g., R).
Demonstrated interest or experience in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch).
Familiarity with medical datasets or prior experience in other fields that can translate to medical data.
