A Brief Overview
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for efficiently providing detailed analytical support to senior management to improve business performance. The person in this position provides financial and operational analytics, revenue budgeting and forecasting, trend analysis, business insights, qualitative assessment of risks and opportunities, and recommendations based on advanced financial analysis for the revenue function. This is an individual contributor role.

What you will do:
- Prepare revenue forecasts and predictive models based upon ongoing business performance
- Working within a team environment, the position is responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely period-end variance and management reporting. Create standardized reporting packages to effectively communicate relevant information.
- Provides analytical support and financial guidance to help with various business decisions. This includes developing new analyses and improving reports and metrics to better support decision-making processes.
- Develops financial presentations in support of the executive team, Board of Directors and Audit Committee. Assist with the analytical support of the Board meetings, earnings releases and SEC reporting requirements.
- Develops and maintains P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow financial scenario models with sensitivity to internal and external factors ensuring they support and reflect overall business objectives.
- Provides corporate level FP&A support of company-wide cross functional initiatives.
- Analyzes financial results and prepares financial reports and dashboards.
- Assists with preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, ad hoc financial analysis projects, and report preparation.
- Provides support to Finance departments and functions such as Accounting during month end close process.
- Assists in ongoing improvement of TriNet's financial, planning, and business intelligence systems including possible automation of data aggregation/manipulation tasks to enable greater focus on higher level analytics.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience - Required
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 8+ years experience in financial planning and analysis - Required
- Typically 3+ years experience in Public Company reporting - Required
- Experience with Tableau, Essbase and/or Anaplan - Required
Skills and Abilities
- Solid understanding of the revenue function, CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value) and CTS (Costo to Serve) concepts and metrics
- Proven experience building predictive models in revenue
- Highly detail oriented and organized.
- Good presentation skills with the ability to work closely with senior management.
- Knowledge working in Tableau
