About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery for on-shore teams. This role ensures that Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies are properly understood and executed by the team and stakeholders. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams deliver high-quality products iteratively and incrementally.

This is a hybrid role, 2 to 3 days a week in office

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide one or more Scrum teams in the effective use of Agile/Scrum practices and values.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement).
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus.
• Promote self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure well-groomed backlogs and clear priorities.
• Foster strong collaboration between on-shore and off-shore/near-shore teams, if applicable.
• Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) to stakeholders.
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile best practices and support Agile maturity growth across the organization.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage constructive dialogue.
• Identify and address potential risks early, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders such as Engineering Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager for a smooth functioning of the team.
• Coach the PO in effective backlog prioritization.
• Expertise in owning managed services projects.
• Handle PCEO responsibilities like timesheets, BDR, ACC Reviews etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I/II) is required
• 10+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery, with at least 8 years as a Scrum Master
• Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts)
• Prior experience working with on-shore and off-shore/near-shore teams in a distributed delivery model
• Hands-on experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps)
• Experience coaching Product Owners on backlog grooming and prioritization
• Familiarity with Managed Services delivery models and associated governance processes
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation planning, and stakeholder management
• Strong servant leadership, communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Engineering Managers and Product Managers
• Exposure to handling PCEO responsibilities such as time tracking, business development reporting, and account health reviews (BDR, ACC Reviews, etc.)
• Ability to drive Agile maturity within a team or organization
