What You'll Do:

• Process payroll for all credit union employees with precision and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
• Handle audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting with confidence.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Four-year college or university degree in Accounting or Finance with two to four years related experience; or a two-year Associate degree in Accounting or Finance with four to six years of related experience, or eight years or greater of equivalent work experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution.  
• Proficiency in payroll and accounting software, including:
• Paylocity, ADP Run etc.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced functions: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations
• Detail-oriented mindset with passion and getting things right.
