Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, delivering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside care in alignment with the nursing process and patient needs. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care planning and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Special Skills: We are seeking enthusiastic new graduate nurses who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. Candidates should be prepared to adapt to a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure and demonstrate excellent customer service and basic computer skills. Responsibilities
 

  • The RN serves as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff in the provision of safe, effective care. 
  • Responsibilities include evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supporting patient goals, and ensuring safety guidelines and work practices.

    Key duties include:
  • Direct patient care 
  • Participation in hourly rounding
  • Supervision of healthcare team members while promoting safe and efficient patient throughput in a high-volume acute care setting to optimize workflow and daily operations in a procedure-driven facility.

Qualifications

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
  • MINIMUM CERTIFICATION: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona, BLS, ACLS are required at time of hire
  • PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: PALS, CEN, and TNCC
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit
