Responsibilities:
· Provided customer service to members and students, supporting the WorkForce 2000 Program Unit.
· Input student enrollment documents, contact information, and attendance records into Excel.
· Assist with program scheduling, managing calendar activities, overseeing supply inventory, handling mailings, and compiling data.
· Follow up with members and students about program forms and attendance through e-mail and phone calls.
· Maintain and update program Excel database, e-mail, and phone information.
· Review and audit program files.
· Provide support for program events and special projects.
· Provide onsite support and build relationships for the Summer Work Internship Program, Saturday Academic Program at NYU, and other fieldwork activities that support the program's mission.
· Perform special projects and assignments as directed.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED; some college or degree preferred
· Must have two (2) years of experience in clerical support role in general or office environment
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with providers, members, and team members
· Basic skills level in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
· High level initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Must be able to work independently and be a team player
· Must be organized and detail-oriented highly organized, and able to meet deadlines
· Ability to work flexible hours, some weekends and evenings required
