Accounting Team Lead - International

The Accounting Team Lead – International plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting of Ace Hardware Corporation’s international business unit. This role leads critical aspects of the month-end close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting, while also serving as a lead on cross-functional projects and process improvements. The position provides day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and workflow oversight for two Senior Accountants through indirect supervision. This position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager – International and sits within the General Accounting team.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee key aspects of the monthly close including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare and review complex ad hoc analysis and executive‑level reporting
• Drive process improvements, automation and internal control enhancements
• Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Lead and mentor team of senior accountants
• Coordinate and respond to external and internal audit requests

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum five years of prior accounting related experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to implement automation and process improvements
• Excelled verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

• CPA
• SAP experience
• OneStream experience

$102900 - $128600 per year
