RWE is facing an exciting future and has clear expansion plans. 
Expansion plans that naturally lead to the accounting function needing to equip itself for the future, we are therefore looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Denmark.

About the role
We are looking for you who thrive in an expansive and fast-changing environment with a high work pace. You have a positive and unpretentious attitude and you are energetic and committed. 

As Junior Accountant at RWE Renewables, you will, among other things, work with:
 

• Working broadly in finance with the main focus on financial statements, which means reconciliations, investigations and analysis for the company you are responsible for.
• Responsible for the annual reporting process for "your" companies.
• Responsible for reporting to the group. 
• Be the responsible contact person for the auditors.

In addition to the above, you will have a great opportunity to work in a  new project that we are very proud of, Thor. Thor is an offshore wind farm, the first of three offshore wind farms decided as part of the 2018 Energy Agreement. Thor will be the largest offshore wind farm in Denmark to date and will be established in the North Sea off Thorsmindes on the west coast of Jutland. Thor, when connected to the grid in 2027, can annually produce power equivalent to the consumption of approximately 1 million Danish households.  

 

Your profile
You have an academic or post-graduate degree in finance and experience working with accounting and advanced accounting issues (preferably with companies in an international environment).
We would like you to have an interest in understanding underlying processes and a drive to improve and streamline You have some knowledge of SAP, MS Office, especially Excel.

To thrive in the role, you are driven by working in a small team where you have the chance to influence. 
You speak and write Danish and English fluently.

 

In this role, we want you to be based in Copenhagen so you should live within commuting distance to our Copenhagen office which is centrally located in Industrins Hus, next door to the Tivoli!
