As the MIC Strategic Sales Manager you will be responsible for attaining sales objectives, driving customer satisfaction and executing service line strategies for the assigned geography. Position is guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with MIC PSS to over deliver on region objectives
- Direct connection and support for PCS MGM and USCAN partners in the assigned geography
- Provide deal support for pricing and quoting for larger and complex deals
- Manage CSO and hot customers by leveraging local, HQ and CLL resources
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the market such as TAP/healthcheck and fleet purchases
- NPI strategy implementation and measurement with direct feedback to marketing and product development
- Connection with MIC Segment team and Global Product team. Facilitate customer visits for senior leadership and customer feedback to drive product development.
- Cultivate and leverage customer relationships at the executive level
- SFC review and reporting tracking all level of quarterly opportunities along with direct input regarding monthly factory PSI levels
- Drive strategy at all IDN and large health systems in the assigned geography
- Development of long-term customer relationships through the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs
- Serve as an advisor and mentor to PSS in the region to promote a strong Zone MIC team
- Assist in development of top talent and recruitment for open positions Indirect management/strong connection to clinical organization, team lead program, MIC Core team and MCSS
- Technical staff originating sales by positioning GE technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution. Promote the business value proposition of GE technology. Works in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff. Primary technical role involved in DTI (demand to inquiry): aim at increasing market penetration through technical support during pre-ITO.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation or 7 years of consultative sales experience
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
- Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
- Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region. (Territory: Northeast US)
