The HR team is located in different locations within the Business Group. HR’s responsibility is to support the organization to contribute to success in our strategy. This includes ensuring that we have processes that maintain the working environment, talent development, and recruitment that meet our future need for expertise. The workplace for this position is in our HQ in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the Talent Director in the Generation & Transmission Business Group.

Join Nexans as a Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Manager and play a key role in driving transformative talent initiatives aligned with our HR and business strategy. In collaboration with the group talent management department, you will oversee the implementation of programs/ initiatives focused on attraction and management of our talent pool. Your contribution will be instrumental in advancing the skills and development of our G&T staff, supporting Nexans’ continuous growth and evolution.
How you make an impact
As the Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Manager, you will:
Lead Talent Acquisition within the Business Group (BG):

- Define and implement the BG staffing strategy, including managing the approval process for new job requisitions and internal mobility principles.
- Prepare and manage the recruitment budget in alignment with the BG’s CAPEX/OPEX policy, continuously optimizing staffing costs.
- Oversee and monitor job requisitions from BG business units and sites, ensuring alignment with Quality, Cost, and Delivery requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean Management within the Talent Acquisition team.
- Implement tools developed centrally to enhance the efficiency of the staffing process, including internal talent pools, internal mobility, external recruitment, social networks, and web communication.
- Deploy recruitment tools, templates, processes, and procedures, including modules for My Click/SuccessFactors, online video interviews, selection assessments, and psychometric testing.
- Establish local sourcing strategies by country.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve Talent Acquisition performance, focusing on metrics such as time to source, time to fill, percentage of female hires, internal mobility, and overall recruitment quality.
- Enhance Nexans’ reputation and attractiveness as an employer of choice:
- Create EVP communication materials targeted at both employees and candidates.
- Promote the EVP through various tools, events, and digital platforms.
- Leverage HR marketing and continuous benchmarking to strengthen our branding efforts, both on the shop floor and digitally.
- Promote the values and culture of Nexans, including our rich history and the work of the Nexans Foundation.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships, such as organizing job dating events, building networks with alumni, engaging with schools and universities, collaborating with job boards and social networks, participating in trade/job fairs, conferences, and other dedicated events, and working with associations and preferred suppliers.
