This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM CST (includes 1-hour unpaid break)Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
From day-to-day accounting operations to high-level financial planning, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and supporting expansion efforts—including potential acquisitions in the Philippine market. This role is ideal for a proactive CPA who thrives on solving complex challenges and optimizing processes in a dynamic business setting.
Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for business decision-making
Ensure strict compliance with Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations
Oversee payroll processing for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to guide financial strategy
Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate with the financial analyst to deliver actionable financial insights
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency
Support financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and expansion plans
CPA certification with proven accounting experience (e-commerce or logistics preferred)
Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax laws
Proficiency in advanced accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and strategic mindset
Payroll management experience for large teams (warehouse/logistics a plus)
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with financial trends in e-commerce/logistics is a strong advantage
