<p><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"></a><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"></a><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"></a><a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"></a><strong>Deadline Date:</strong> Monday 1 September 2025</p><p><strong>Requirement: </strong>Senior Cloud Administrator (AWS)</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Braine-l'Alleud, BE  </p><p><strong>Full Time On-Site:</strong> Yes</p><p><strong>Time On-Site:</strong> 100%</p><p><strong>Not to Exceed:</strong> 106 EUR</p><p><strong>Total Scope of the request (hours): </strong>418</p><p><strong>Required Start Date:</strong> 13 October 2025</p><p><strong>End Contract Date: </strong>31 December 2025 </p><p><strong>Required Security Clearance:</strong> NATO SECRET </p><p></p><p><strong>Duties and Role:  </strong></p><p>Under the overall direction of the Service Owner and Service Delivery Manager, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:</p><ul> <li>Administer, configure, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.</li> <li>Provide Level 2/3 support for AWS-related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner.</li> <li>Provision and maintain virtual machines, storage, and databases on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.</li> <li>Manage and optimize AWS networking components like VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs, and Direct Connect.</li> <li>Automate the deployment and management of AWS resources using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.</li> <li>Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, such as instance management, backups, and scaling</li> <li>Perform other duties, as may be required</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Skill, Knowledge &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul> <li>The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance</li> <li>Have a graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or an equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by a related engineering Institute or professional body</li> <li>Be fluent English in both spoken and written.</li> <li>Experience with Amazon AWS cloud environment (IAM, EC2, ALB, Cloudfront, Cloudformation, WAF, Monitoring, Storage, Cognito)</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers</li> <li>Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).</li> <li>Proficiency in managing and securing VPC networks, firewalls, and access control.</li> <li>Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).</li> </ul>
