Staff Accountant- Part Time

Overview

CVP is seeking a talented Junior Staff Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a stable career opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing professional services company.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and Bi-Monthly Payroll
• Data entry of vendor invoices in Unanet system (paperless accounting)
• Monitor email from employees and vendors and respond to questions
• Send payment remittances each week
• Assist with annual external audit
• Assist with monthly closing and accounting support backup
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in entering transactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Initiative and tenacity; effective in a deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge and understanding of MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Experience with QuickBooks or Unanet accounting system (optional)
