Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Position Summary

The Director of Commercial Marketing - Global will lead, manage, and oversee execution of the Global Product Management and downstream marketing tactics for an assigned franchise of products in our North America and OUS markets (EMEA, LATAM, APAC). The incumbent will ensure product, promotional and clinical program alignment to strategy to achieve the growth and profit expectations for the Global Interventional business unit.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Attract top talent and guide and support professional development for team members. 
•    Provide strategic guidance and supervise Marketing Managers and Product Managers who report to this position. 
•    Provide the leadership necessary to direct the business in its mission to achieve the sales, gross margin and contribution profit objectives established by the lnterventional Business Unit.
•    Lead cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) to ensure project and launch success 
•    Be the advocate for international markets and market development at the business unit level
•    Act as passionate change agent to develop and expand specified market areas.
•    Develop and implement strategic initiatives by optimizing resources.
•    In conjunction with the Vice President of Global Marketing, develop the annual International operating plan for the lnterventional business.
•    Lead International marketing launch plans for new products, clinical programs, and product improvements programs. Conduct market surveys, market research, and product evaluations for line extensions and support product evaluations for new product introductions, as required.
•    Achieve annual sales plan and margin targets for the lnterventional International business.
•    Manage assigned Operating Expenses and T&E budget for marketing team.
•    Work closely with cross functional partners relative to Concept to Commercialization NPD process, product positioning/messaging, and forecasting for new product opportunities.
•    Keep abreast of healthcare reform and economic environment and translate understanding to messaging within International lnterventional   promotional strategy.
•    Effective management of agencies and vendors to ensure on-time project completion, within budget.
•    Support RFI/RFP processes for GPO/IDN bids.
•    Lead the marketing activities around becoming a solution provider that includes developing advertising and sales promotion programs, brochures, ads, slides, posters, and specification booklets.
•    Develop pricing strategy and achieve price increase determined by the operating plan.
•    Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex's Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, and procedures.

•    Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
