Job Description Summary

The Sr. Director of Maximus Federal Civilian is a key member of the Technology and Consulting Services (TCS) Leadership Team and is responsible for operations and growth for a multi-million-dollar portfolio. The role reports directly to the Managing Director of Maximus TCS Civilian & Financial Account Lead. The individual will be expected to develop trusted relationships within federal agencies that support large business process and systems integration projects. The main area of focus that will encompass the Sr. Director’s attention: Information Technology innovation and adoption within the Federal government. We are interested in building capabilities across Federal departments, to include strong collaboration with leaders in adjacent markets (i.e. DoD and Health). Responsibilities include:- Supporting all aspects of the Federal Segment P&L, including business development interaction with the Federal BD Leader, operations, marketing, proposal operations, etc. With a major focus on organic growth in new adjacent and existing markets. - Ensuring Maximus Federal TCS Civilian is well positioned to successfully respond to significant Federal Requests for Proposals, with wins against major competitors.- Developing Maximus Federal TCS Civilian strategies, direction, values and operational policies.- Leading or participating in the development of responses to Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, and other procurement-related activities emanating from Civilian government agencies.- Ensuring Maximus Federal TCS Civilian programs and initiatives are effective and conform to the overall goals and objectives of the Civilian clients we serve.Required Skills:• Applicants must be able to pass a government required background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business/management or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.• 15+ years of combined experience in the following: o Leading modernization initiatives (Cloud, AI, CX) across commercial and public sector or relevant industries.o Proven track record in managing large-scale digital projects from inception to completion, including solution design, development, and implementation with experience in Agile delivery and cybersecurity.o Demonstrated experience in M&A due diligence and integration. Desired/Preferred Skills:• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams to achieve organizational goals.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to engage with clients, senior executives, and technical experts effectively.• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and drive innovation through industry and commercial best practices.• Strong business acumen and experience in business development, client relationship management, and proposal development.• Knowledge of government acquisition/procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.• Demonstrated experience in relevant areas, such as agile delivery, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence are a plus.
