Summary of Position

Teladoc Health is seeking a talented and creative Senior Analyst, HR Technology with experience in Workday HCM enhancements, deployments, and ongoing enterprise systems support and maintenance. This role will support the People Innovation team and collaborate with functional leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise. This role is a key member of the HR Technology Team and is expected to contribute to the planning, prioritization, and execution of our continued implementation and the future Workday roadmap.

What You Will Do:

The Senior Analyst, HR Technology, will assist our HR Technology Leads to support various Workday HCM modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Timekeeping, Talent/Performance, Recruiting, Absence, Peakon, Journeys, Help and Career Hub. While the Senior Analyst, HR Technology will not manage specific modules, they will work on process improvement initiatives, configuration and operational maintenance across all Workday HCM modules.

Specific job duties include:

System Design/Configuration:

  • Meet collaboratively with team, functional leaders, and stakeholders to support maintenance and enhancements of the Workday system. Gather business requirements, make recommendations based on knowledge of Workday capabilities, interdependencies, and interfacing business processes, demonstrate proof of concepts, provide technical assistance in configuration, coordinate user acceptance testing, and upon approval, assist in migrating the solution to Production.
  • Work closely with Payroll, Finance, IT, and HR team leads and stakeholders to identify and implement methods for improving current functional processes, promoting process standardization, efficiency and standard methodologies within the bounds of the Workday system and Workday Community best practices
  • Project Manages and guides scope definition, design sessions, testing, and deployment of operational enhancements
  • Partner with IT team on the understanding, management and movement of data in support of downstream processes, systems, and other operations which rely on the Enterprise data
  • Under the guidance of the IT & Data Governance structure, along with Workday Management, help to create and implement solutions, standards and controls which will encourage and ensure data accuracy and integrity for the future of Teladoc Health’s analytics and planning
  • Expand personal knowledge base of Workday through inquisitive curiosity, trial and error testing, research, and available online learning

Operational Support:

  • Troubleshoot functional and configuration issues from all levels of the organization using the non-production testing tenant first to find creation solutions, followed by careful and deliberate changes to the production environment. Communicate work results in appropriate directions
  • Review ticket queue based on functional expertise to categorize, prioritize, respond, and resolve end-user questions and concerns within the IT service level agreement
  • Monitor and respond to functional inquiries using chat, email, video conference, and phone
  • Document and track information in support of the day-to-day operations of Workday

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources
  • 2-3 years of experience with Workday HCM and Workday configuration
  • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, project management, and HRIS systems development methodologies
  • Robust analytic, problem solving, consultancy and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in an international company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing consultation to senior management on highly complex financial issues; recommending best practices and new business approaches to improve efficiencies in policies and procedures
  • Project Management experience in the HR Technology or HR Operations space
  • Work well with teams, both in-person and virtually
  • Self-starter with a great work ethic
